Statement-1: Article 35A was Included in the Constitution through a presidential order of May 1954. Hence the Statement-1 is Correct
Statement-2: The Article provides for the recognition “permanent residents,” who are entitled to be provided “special rights and privileges” in matters such as employment in the State government and acquisition of immovable property. Hence the Statement-2 is Correct
Statement-3: The President through presidential order (not through constitutional amendments) declared that, as from the 6th August, 2019, all clauses of the said Article 370 shall cease to be operative. Hence the Statement-3 is Incorrect.
Since statements 1 and 2 only are Correct Statements thus, correct answer is (b)
